"ALTIJD DICHTBIJ"

Geboorte en dood, beiden intrigeren mij.

 

 

 
 
 

De laatste fase... de songtekst van Ilse de Lange "All the Answers" erop geschreven in goud.

Met voldoening kijk ik naar het eindresultaat en ben er blij mee. Ik verzet het schilderij en het kruis is erg aanwezig, ik draai het een kwartslag en ik zie het niet meer... het is een magisch iets geworden. Dan denk ik aan de naam van het werk. Telkens als ik er aan ging werken, zei ik: "kom Piet, daar gaan we weer.." Zo heet het werk ook "Gewoon Piet".

Met voldoening sms ik M. dat het schilderij klaar is.  Als ik dan voel en zie hoe blij ze ermee is en hoe mooi ze het vindt dan denk ik "missie geslaagd" ik heb iets heel moois in iemands leven kunnen betekenen. Ik heb heel dichtbij mogen komen en er is me iets erg dierbaars toevertrouwd.

En nu heb ik kippenvel....
